Well we added A new German Radio show called Breakfast Mit Hanson Saturday mornings.........

I want to thank Robert for helping me getting started. As the host of Breakfast mit Hans I promise the listeners lots of good German Music and little talk. I have fun hosting the show and I hope the listeners enjoy the music.
Over the years I listened to the Saturday morning programs in Milwaukee and they became a part of weekend life. It is a fabric of the Milwaukee ethnic community of which the German community is still the largest. Now I can again look forward to Saturday mornings and a German radio program.
German music is something I remember hearing from my very earliest days in Milwaukee with "Fritz the Plumber" and others. Every year we seem to have less and less German programming.
One of the great benefits is the public service this programming provides in that one can glean so much information about upcoming German events in the community and surrounding area. Now if only we could get some German language programs going on Sundays we would be set!
Special thanks to Bob Deglau of Continental Showcase for being the tireless promoter working behind the scenes with WJYI and their management in adding this program. And thanks to WJYI for adding this program.
I am certain I speak for the members of the board of DANK Milwaukee Chapter and others in the German American community in sending you best wishes and congratulations for "Frühstück Mit Hans."
I'd like to thank the first commenter for validating my choice to leave the air. I wish you the very best, Hans, and remember to keep a strong back for folks like that coward. There are a lot of great people left in the German community that will appreciate the hard work that putting on a weekly show is.
